JOEY Virtual Machine
We host JOEY for you, on hardware time set aside just for your account, so it keeps working even when your computer is off. It targets a 24/7 duty cycle, so you are covered around the clock, not just while Chrome happens to be open.
What it is
JOEY Virtual Machine is the hosted alternative to the browser extension. Instead of JOEY running inside Chrome on your own computer, it runs on dedicated hardware time we set aside for your account. No computer to leave on, no browser to keep open, JOEY keeps working toward a 24/7 duty cycle.
Pricing
JOEY Virtual Machine (VPS) is a $39 per month add-on. It gives your account dedicated hardware time, set aside just for you, for maximum stability and uptime. It targets a 24/7 duty cycle, so you are covered at all times of day. VPS is included with plans $500 per month and up. On lower plans, it can be added for $39 per month. Limited-time promotion: until September, every plan has VPS access at no extra charge.
Current status: early access
JOEY Virtual Machine is rolling out now. Setup is concierge style, not instant self-serve: you join the early access list from Settings, and our team provisions your virtual machine by hand. Once it is live, it shows as active in your settings and JOEY starts running hosted.
How to enable it
Open Settings
From your JOEY dashboard, go to Settings, then the JOEY Extension section, titled "Run JOEY your way."
Pick JOEY Virtual Machine
Select the JOEY Virtual Machine card. Your choice saves right away, no separate confirmation step.
Enter your own CRM login
You enter your own DriveCentric login yourself, either into the Credentials vault on that same page or into the VPS directly through the remote viewing tool. It is encrypted the moment you save it, so the hosted runner can sign in for you once it is live. Nobody on our side types it for you.
Join early access
Click "Join early access." That records your request, it does not start anything on its own, since setup today is concierge style.
What happens after you join
Our team reaches out to finish provisioning your virtual machine by hand. Once it is live, JOEY runs hosted, around the clock, with no computer or browser extension needed. Changed your mind, or just want to try the free option first? You can switch back to the browser extension any time from the same Settings card, your choice is saved right away.
Safety and limits
- Draft first, same as the extension. JOEY prepares drafts, a human reviews and sends every message. JOEY does not send anything to a customer on its own.
- The same suppression rules apply. Coworker notes and opt-outs are respected automatically, hosted or not.
- JOEY Virtual Machine is the mode of operation available today. The Chrome extension is coming soon and is not selectable yet.
- Real, unattended sending stays locked. Any live-send mode on a hosted runner is shown as locked and requires our team's sign-off, it is never something you can flip on yourself.
FAQ
- Do I need my computer on?
- No. That is the point of JOEY Virtual Machine, once it is live for your account, JOEY runs on hosted hardware, not your computer.
- Can I switch modes?
- JOEY Virtual Machine is the mode of operation available today, and it is selected by default. The browser extension is coming soon and cannot be selected yet.
- Is my CRM login shared?
- It is stored encrypted the moment you save it in the Credentials vault, and fetched only when the hosted runner needs to use it, over an encrypted connection. It is never logged, and no one at MADI TECH, including support, can read it back.
- How long does early access take?
- JOEY Virtual Machine is rolling out now. Setup is concierge style, our team reaches out to provision your machine by hand after you join the list. There is no fixed timeline yet.
